I went last summer and it was so fun!! You def need a car to get around (the island is so big) and it felt a little spread out (like, you’ll want to explore different areas/towns). But I loved it and highly recommend!! Also great wine culture if you’re into that
If the goal is to get away/off the beaten path- Formentera is incredible- definition of escape. Mallorca is a nice mix of all the things and if you fly into Palma, you can see all the pretty historical items- which are stunning. Worth considering flight into Barcelona or Valencia as well to explore first OR end your trip there by ferry from the islands- there is the fast ferry and overnight ferry.
Ibiza is a must along with Formentera, Mallorca is great, Menorca is beautiful and very quiet. Tenerife with Teide volcano and nature is super cool. Once you start visiting islands in Europe the Caribbean becomes a distant 2nd choice only becuase it is closer to the US
I have been to Mallorca and I loved it. It was years ago but I loved the vibe and cuisine
^^that is for Mallorca. Menorca is much smaller and super lowkey from my understanding
Flights will be longer than Caribbean. I believe you need a layover.
Loved Mallorca. Feels surreal. Go swim naked!
St Regis Mallorca is incredible.
Especially the coed naked spa (it’s top rated globally)
