My stylist is doing tape ins for my wedding next year. Right now I use various protective styles but my fave is a lace front. If you can secure a melting lace front they look extremely real. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gotten compliments from people that thought it was my hair. G’luck in your search!
I want a total makeover myself and I’m wanting to try Ktips sooooo badddd!! Lol All the YouTubers I watch swear by tape ins. My concern with tape ins though, is the maintenance and take down. If you don’t maintain them properly you risk pulling your hair out.
Another “hmmm” I have for tape ins is regarding hair density. Presumably, if your hair is fine or lower density, how are you converting the tape? Like with sew-ins, I don’t want the wefts to show, so I definitely don’t want the tape to show.
Ktips seem to require a little less maintenance because it seems like you can manipulate it easier with less risk. Ktips are just sooooo costly. But I think they could be worth it if installed and maintained properly.
How are you covering the tape?**
Typo.
