It’s okay because he only get 10 PTO days a year.
There’s never an off moment for our roles either… weekends, after hours, now holidays…
Incredible the amount of greed…
I knew him and I had something in common: the bonus!
from Reddit r/advertising
John Wren telling Wall Street investors that they have met and exceeded the $750m in cost synergies.
"The result of our integration planning is we remain highly confident in exceeding the synergies we expected when we first announced the acquisition."
"Synergies. I'm not prepared to disclose them, but I will tell you that we have clearly identified synergies in excess of what I promised at the time we announced the deal."
Wren estimates that around 4,000 positions will be eliminated globally.
“That’s going to allow us to meet and exceed the synergies that we promised the marketplace last December,” he told ADWEEK.
How do you get this all around LinkedIn? Obviously, if you decided to defer his bonus this year, he could’ve saved everybody he fired.
$0 bonus?! Too bad. So sad.
he's worth every cent!
How hard did he negotiate for that $60
I’d go to the office everyday too if I made that kind of money. Sadly MTA is raising the price to $3 and that adds up with no raises in sight.
I once heard a story about how he refused to fly his dog on commercial airlines. It was a very reliable source. Tough life.
Must be nice

Non equity incentive plan compensation--does that go under "tips" in the new tax regs?
Imagine if he deferred half of his bonus. What would $7 million save in terms of human beings? Figure the average salary in the main income generating departments of an ad agency is around $150,000? Maybe less? So he could’ve saved 60 jobs. And if he thinks they don’t need those jobs that’s fine, he could’ve just saved people for three months. To let people get through the holidays and the fact that no businesses higher in January. Done the layoffs in February. Hope the man has kids and I hope they read this stuff
One day may he know being poor
He’ll definitely be getting a bonus for moving the acquisition through so don’t believe the $0 there
If you REALLY want to be upset, google his net worth
