Have you ever been forced to quit? I was given an ultimatum of sorts: "Either figure out another way to get your daughter picked up after school, or we're going to have to find a replacement for you". I don't want to be treated that way, so I walked out, but I see that they pretty much made me quit. Is this the new tactic?

I would check with a plaintiff side employment lawyer about what happened. You could have a claim for constructive termination.

I don't think this is a new common tactic, this feels like a pretty specific situation. Either way, I'm sorry you went through that. Being a working parent is incredibly difficult.

That definitely isn't okay. Like the rest are saying, I'd look into this further and make sure you weren't unfairly and more importantly illegally treated.

Is EY GDS still delivering laptop for new joiners or do we have to pick it up from the office ?

I received the laptop survey mail last week and provided my response but still not sure if they will deliver it or not ??

I think I need to give up on finding a natural deodorant that actually works.

I’ve tried Native, Dove 0%, Kopari, Toms, Crystal, Secret Aluminum Free. Curie gave me a horrible reaction because of my sensitivity to baking soda.

Anyone else struggle to switch to natural? Find anything that finally worked?

Staying at the Ritz and STR in the Maldives so expecting good service and reading mixed things about tipping. I usually don’t tip much at hotels (never really thought about it) but what do people do? Is there an expectation and would the amount be based on like room rate or just a flat daily per day?
