Anyone use a lawyer to get increased disability? If so, any recommendations?

Started vyvance. I’m eating a lot, super hydrated, no caffeine and I still feel super weird. I’m calm and my brain feels great but physically my eyes are soo dry and my body just feels disassociated. It’s only been three days. Does this pass?

To the people that dump loads of $$$ on mobile or computer games as a way to chill after a crazy day, why do you do it? I am thinking there has to be better way to cope.

Does anyone here suffer from bipolar disorder? How do you manage it and working in law? I see a therapist, and a psychiatrist, and am on medication, but I still have days where I wake up and I’m so depressed I can’t move. I’m working on remedying this with my doctors, but how does one approach mental health issues with their employer? I never felt the need to until I realized how much being bipolar can affect my ability to work.

My manager continues to ask me to help other teams and do work on other billable projects. I’m sick of it .. and I’m going to explicitly say that no I can’t do it because my hours are taken by the existing project we are doing. Is this appropriate?

I manage 2 physician practices and one is extremely toxic. To the point the dr sides with staff even when I am trying to make corrective actions when patient care is in jeopardy. My leadership is aware and knows I am keeping my distance from them. Just doing the necessary work to keep them producing. How do you handle this? Going through a rough patch, mental-health wise. I have always been a high performer and dont back down from challenges. But this past month something feels off in my head and I have 0% motivation for anything at the moment. Brief run down: work-stress, meeting expectations, fear of failure, imposter-syndrome, negative self-image (probably from all the time I spend on IG… might need therapy. 🥲
