Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

I think about it often, as I feel like I should be doing something useful or meaningful with my life. The problem is that meaningful wouldn't pay me as well as I'm being paid now. That's one of the ironies of corporate life, you can more or less coast along and do pretty well.
Absolutely. I used to be a teacher but I got super burnt out on the hours and the incredibly unfair expectations put on teachers. I'm much happier now.
I think that’s such a powerful realization — setting boundaries around work hours takes a lot of courage, especially when it means changing careers.
I have been considering a career change lately. I was thinking about getting my teaching certification but not sure that is the right move.
