Do we get complete variable pay in HCL?
Hey guys. I have been applying to Amex for the past 1 year. Tried applying on the portal, through referrals and even hr consultants reached me regarding the roles since I have a relevant profile. But not once have I been shortlisted or called for an interview. What could be the problem?
PS: I have gotten calls from every other company for the same profile but not amex. Can't be a problem with the profile. Seems something dicey which I'm not aware of.American Express

Does anyone have any insights on what a typical Sr. Associate Director makes at Boehringer Ingelheim? I have a range of 170-180k which I think is fair but don’t want to be underpaid. Also, any information regarding retirement planning or medical/dental benefits would be helpful. Haven’t gotten much out of HR. Thanks in advance!

Make a counteroffer
That’s what I keep thinking. It’s honestly a really interesting role, but the way this has been handled hasn’t been excellent thus far. I’ll give it another go at renegotiating and decide whether or not this is worth taking.
Tell them thank you, show excitement and be appreciative but always negotiate the first offer. Explain why you should be towards the higher end of the band and highlight the value you will add. Remember, the first offer is almost always not the best they can do. Personally I would counter with140k base, 20k bonus, 10k sign on (assuming you have the skills/experience/knowledge to put you at the high end of the band) Good luck! You got this
I’d still renegotiate
I would make a counteroffer suggesting that you want to make this work. May be give a couple of options- 140K and 20K sign-on bonus or 130K and 40K sig-on bonus
