Have you ever had a coworker who constantly corrects everyone without actually contributing anything helpful? How did you address it?

Yes multiple times

It’s so frustrating isn’t it!

Ask them to lead the meeting, put them on the spot

Amazing - I would love this!

I ignore them and just laugh to myself. If I’m on a Zoom/Teams and have to be on camera it’s so much harder!

Oh that’s annoying! Yeah that’s hard to hide!

I think you could have structured your question better 🧐

So much

No but I’d address it by asking them if they have any suggestions. Basically put them on the spot after correcting me. I’d probably say something along the lines of “Oh, thanks for the correction. It seems you might know more about this than I do. Do you have any suggestions?”

That’s a fantastic way of going about it, thank you!

By politely telling them that it is bothering me

Yes I have had that:

I addressed it by politely bringing up the issue with them in a coffee chat

Diversification is the key. My portfolio includes a bit of most of these.

1. Debt/Liquid mutual funds (direct)
2. Gold
3. REIT (fractional ownership and distribution)
4. Equity mutual funds (ELSS, direct)
5. Direct equity (India)
6. US stocks and ETFs (tech & genomics)
7. Crypto currency (interest deposits)

I have been at my company for 3.5 years. One year ago (2.5 years into my employment with them) they re-leveled everyone and I was bumped to an entry level position on the terms that they changed my job title when they re-leveled, so “technically” I am at the early stages of my new title. Even though the job duties did not really change.
I’m not sure the best way to approach this. Has anyone else had a similar experience or know how I should advocate for myself?

Quick question fishes: if someone who called a small % of company requests for tax return of the business, are we obligated to share it? This is a “technical cofounder” who existed two years ago

Hello fishes, I have offers from two different companies and both are offering same amount of CTC - 18LPA (YOE: 3.2) . Company names are Pristyn Care and Xiaomi technology india pvt. ltd .

Now for Pristyn Care I won't have to move out of Gurgaon (I'm from north India). Xiaomi is calling me to Bangalore. Rest all the benefits seem similar.

In terms of learning and job security and all the aspects considered, which company should I join?

Please help me decide. Thank you!

Hi fishes, I want to move to management consulting. Current role is an internal data science consultant for driving OpEx.

Is it possible without a) going for an MBA b) Starting from the bottom at Undergrad analyst level.
Would ideally target pre-MBA Associate level (one step short of post MBA level).

Any leads/strategy to crack this would be greatly appreciated.
