Having an impossibly hard time finding a job that gives me room to grow. I've been working dead-end jobs for the past 3 years, and I've spent most of it getting ghosted by jobs I could make into a career. I'm struggling to grow my savings, struggling to be happy with where I am. I want a job that I'm proud to say I work, because it gets me somewhere. Not just go "Oh I'm a cashier." for the third year in a row.

Today my supervisor told me "be helpful with customers, but not TOO helpful." I seriously have no idea what that means. OK though, you're the boss?
