My interview process is horrific.. so far I have attended 6 virtual interviews(multiple technical and managerial) and one F2F for the same opening in the span of 45 days. Shared docs , received CTC breakup.. it’s been a week since CTC breakup.. will they update whether they got approval or not .. or directly reject the candidature.. it’s really time consuming process .. fed up of this.

So for those who have been with Deloitte for 3yrs and above, what is the motivation? What are the rewards? No ESPP, so what really do you get to show for the work, time and all? Kindly share, am trying to make a big decision here, thanks?

I have an interview for an in house position (only attorney) at a small non-profit focused on conservation easements. I am a transactional associate at a mid sized law firm. The prospect of freedom from the billable hour and contributing to meaningful work are the draws. The cons are that while the salary at the non-profit would only be slightly less than what I am making now, pay increases and opportunities for advancement will be much less than where I am now. Thoughts on making the shift?

I’m a second year BigLaw associate that pays market. I was offered the position at a modified salary and hourly expectation due to their expected work flow needs. I’m wondering what is the best way to approach the topic of getting on the full salary/hours. Do I wait until the bonuses are given at the end of my first year? Or bring it up at mid-year review? Getting life insurance so they drug tested me. Now they want me to fill out a form that basically asks me to certify if I’ve EVER done any of these drugs. What the? Who hasn’t EVER? What happens if I say never did? Idk my results from the drug test, maybe I smoked a bowl in the last few weeks, can’t say for sure. How does this work?
