Helo everyone, I had an interview scheduled with Cognizant on last week of Jan 2022 but due to technical error in Verification code I couldn't join interview lobby. I reported the same to the HR and I was told the interview will be rescheduled. Now there's no update from the HR. Could you please guide me how can I proceed or any email address to which I can inform to take the rescheduling process further.
Thanks in advance

For a good consultant, their salary should be between YOE*3 to YOE*5 to safeguard from layoffs. YOE*2 is for average consultants. You have to be exceptionally good to get YOE*5.
I didn't say the interviewers decide the salary, they decide the proficiency of the candidate. If the budget is 20-30LPA, HR will lowball you and hope you accept it. But if you can negotiate and the HR can accommodate your preferred salary based on the proficiency the interviewer gave. If you're just an average developer, however you push, HR will not bulge very little but if you're great, they can help with the whole budget. It's just how everything is decided, and this was shared with me by someone who interviews people.
For survival in a difficult country like India you need at least 1 cr in hand. No water to drink, no air to breathe, food with pesticides. Need a lot to survive. 40 lacs is good if you are leaving India
20LPA would be industry average.
@Delloite1 - Expectation vs Industry average
service industry for sure will not give you that for 9yoe…I have seen people with this salary range only in product based and not even in big4s
expectation from a 9 yoe guy would be of SME who can play a role of a Consultant also if required and can manage a small team of 3-4 members…they will not expect you to lead a project single handedly unless you have a proven experience in the same organisation
