Hello fellow women in law. I am a POC attorney in Minnesota trying to juggle work, life, and community. It feels like I’m failing in all aspects. I’m looking into options for leave but don’t think I would be able to disconnect from my community and don’t want to. It’s the work that is actually feeding me energy and hope. I’m not sure how my employer would take me spending time doing work in my community but on leave from work. Thoughts?

I'm launching a small PE firm and need advice on structuring equity for early founding team members.

I don't want to give up equity in the firm for several reasons but I do need to incentivize my team.

Should I offer phantom stock or form a subsidiary LLC and issue stock in that but always own the parent co? Or just offer carried interest for deals they each manage?

Anyone at Altman Solon London who can provide total comp figures for Consultant, Senior Consultant and Engagement Manager levels?

Base/bonus breakdown would also be great. Currently at a T2 generalist firm and thinking of switching, but would be good to get a sense of comp progression (Glassdoor data seems incomplete)

Know this is a long shot, but if I’m counseled out of one MBB, what are the chances I could get an equivalent job at another? And if not another MBB, thinking that a T2 or B4 could be possible? I’m not even sure I want to stay in consulting, but also feel like I didn’t get a fair shot at it

One query, I have received an offer letter from Wipro (Career Group: C1) with package of 28 LPA, out of which INR 420000 is allocated as 'Variable Pay' which will be paid on quarterly basis'. Need to know how much % would generally be paid out? Is it 100% or less as per the individual/organization performance.

Hi Sharks, I don't have any friends in Tech Mahindra. Need to confirm one thing. I am holding offer from TechM and HR told whatever total variable pay we mention in offer letter, we pay the same on Monthly basis in salary.

I have a relative that changed the name on the title of their home, nearly a decade ago, to one of her sons. Over the last couple of years the son has refused to change the title back to her and claims it's his inheritance. Is there any way around this? What type of attorney, if any, can she contact to get the title back to her name?
