I have 4.6 yrs of exp in QA industry.

I am on PIP. Got released from project last week. Currently on Bench. Have completed 2 project related goals. 3 remaining certifications have to complete in next 30-45 days I order to pass PIP.

Do I need to report office everyday? If yes, is it all day or 3.5 hrs as per policy?

Also any guidence on will I get new project or it's just formal way to fire even if we complete PIP...

Can someone explain why alcohol is so debilitating on your health? I had a single drink and the next day at the gym I could feel that drink just wreaking havoc on my workout routine. Anyone have any tips on getting a balance?

What should I reasonably expect from a junior?

I manage a junior developer that's been with the company for about 18 months. I end up providing them of TON of support. I need to give them extremely detailed instructions or they fail. For bugs, I need to point them to a specific function that's causing the bug. For new features, I'm basically writing their method signatures and defining their test cases.

I've tried asking them to do more on their own, but when I do, they fail spectacularly.

Recently I cleared 2 technical rounds and had salary discussion with HR on 26th July.
When I enquired about offer letter last week, hr replied in mail that "Since your education under blacklist with cognizant, we are unable to process with your offer. Many of college alumni are already working with cognizant. Even mailed them what part of education is blacklisted but they are not replying.should I still expect offer letter from them?
