I have got an offer from wissen technology for Java Developer profile and my client is Morgan Stanley. In MR they told me that I have to work from client location and for HFT / trading application. So can anyone clarify below points :-

Q. What is the work life balance while working at the client location.

Q. Will the role involve actual development work or will it primary focus on writing test cases?

Q. Job seurity considering I will be an external employee for the morgan stanley ?

Joining a big firm next week as fully remote lateral and flying out to home office for orientation. The schedule has me in office until 4:15. I’ve already been told I won’t have any actual work. Depending on how many people are there and how it feels, I was planning to stay an hour extra but should I hang around the office until later? I just spoke with a software architect that went back to school to learn software engineering after law school because it was more lucrative and had less hours. He’s worked his way up and has the skills and authority to work 6:30am-10am and gets to work remotely. We discussed that results/outputs is better than billable time like in law and public accounting. Yet, his parents and others would view him as “lazy” but he does his job and makes a fantastic living. Time>Money and Results>Hours
