I'm a younger plaintiff's side attorney (31). Does anyone else feel like white attorneys give you a particularly harder time? Like unreasonably denying clear facts, or trying to fish for a way to sanction you? Got my MBB offer as an Exp Hire! A few insights from my case prep. I practiced ~10 cases solo using Case Coach videos. I'd watch the interviewer speak, pause the video, practice (speak out loud, ask questions, explain my approach, even time myself), then play to see what the candidate did, and evaluate myself for gaps.

I also learned the evaluation criteria and internalized the generic case frameworks.

I do work in consulting and had done live case interviews 5 years ago

Futures are crashing....with the fed slashing rates, I thought that would have the opposite outcome? I don’t fully understand the impact of that but I thought the market would be positive to that.

I want to ask for a 20%raise, knowing that the company is planning the year budget around now should I give my manager a heads up as to what I’m expecting before my salary review? I got a 0.6% raise at the start of 2020 and a 4% in April this year. The raise this year came with the title of “Lead” and more work responsibilities, talking with a co-worker we now make about the same amount. I started working here right out of college (10 years).

Any junior strategy positions open in NY?

Indeed just blocked our company account job posting feature citing they found our company unsuitable for Indeed. We have been using Indeed for years now for free and paid job ads and always follow terms of use. They asked for a company document for verification purposes after they blocked us from posting. I provided Business Entity Detail, sales tax license, business and management indemnity policy declaration but they didn’t take them as valid proof. Have you dealt with anything like this?
