UK market is open only for niche skillsets ( Data engineer + analytics). Firms aren't interested in sponsoring rest all skill sets, as they can be filled internally. They have limited quota every year, and are very choosy when it comes to allocation. Preference is first given to EU nationals and then Asians during shortlist stage.

Referral works, but the person who is referring you should have enough clout in the organization to present your profile!

Please give me a rough estimate on how much hike we can expect in my annual salary revision. I expected 8LPA when I joined. They gave me 5LPA with a promise of revision in 3months after joining. They inc it to 7.75LPA after 4m and during appraisal cycle gave 25k 11months to make it to 8LPA. In Oct my hike is due, so I would to like negotiate my hike. Please let me know how much I can ask for.

Any recommendations on credit cards with lounge access? Currently have the Chase Sapphire Reserve which has Priority Pass, but have been turned away from lounges not accepting PP at peak times

I recently was let go (in lieu of accepting my two weeks) and I should have received my March expense check by the end of April per the employment agreement (submitted the report April 1, let go before mid April). Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to. I got this invite shortly after. The place I’m interviewing at the job wouldn’t start til next year. I dont want to seem like a job hopper. Do i tell them I’m at a new role or just not bring it up? The acquisition was public so they can see Im no longer employed with the most recent work history on my resume
