Hi Dimple,
I looked through your profile and as someone who has taken a lot of interviews for various levels of hiring I have some key points I would like to share:
1. Resume:
Your resume, doesn't tell anything about you.
Try to avoid writing paragraphs.
And since you are looking for designer roles, there is no point in talking about your architectural history.
You have added in your work experience that you worked for some company for 3 years. So, as an interviewer, I would like to know what you actually did. What product you worked on.
And if you didn't do anything, be honest and don't write it to fool the recruiters. They are pretty smart and can easily see through your lies.
Add dates and timelines.
Write everything in bullet points.
Don't use these predefined templates.
Create your resume as plain and simple as possible. Resume is not to show your design skills. You have your portfolio for that.
You can use Harvard resume template to create your resume. Search for it on Google, you will find it.

Now coming to your designs

2. Toggle button: Anyone from the design community can easily identify that toggle button you have created. So there is no actual innovation there. Also the kind of interaction you have created, is not right, it just fades from day to night. Instead it should have transformed. You can look for the complete tutorial on YouTube for it. But the point is, that toggle button doesn't really tell anything about you. As an interviewer, I would like to know your thought process, research methodology, problem solving skills etc, and not how nicely you can replicate a design. My suggestion would be to drop that off, or atleast put it in the back.

3. The other projects, redefine, story and it's okay: The projects look too text heavy. No one is going to read that much. You need to show all that data visually, in a well composed manner. Also redefine and story have first 10 slides same. I can literally see that its a one day work. There are no user flows, user journeys, the problem you are solving and what's the need of the project. I would suggest you to take some time. Look at various ux case studies on behance and recreate these projects.
Also you can work on your app and web screens to polish the design. Currently they are not looking crisp.

I would also suggest you to read some books on design thinking and ux, design systems, ui design and visual design.

If you have any further questions feel free to DM.

At the end, i wish you all the best for you future.

Work on your spacing concepts, and information architecture. The elements look very compressed and out of space
Watch the "Ultimate guide to UI Design" by Malewicz on youtube. He shared a handbook which talks about spacing. That will help you quickly resolve the issues in current projects.
Once done, learn more about material guidelines on spacing and observe how that helps.

Second, work on your visual design. Avoid unnecessary beautifying elements, eg. The search bar in the furniture app, doesn't need to be a gradient. It's totally disrupting the usability.
One thing to improve such things, every component that you create, try to find it on Mobbin and see how they've implemented it. Try sticking to that only.

My company is hiring. If interested dm your resume

Inspired by one of my kids' favorite books, I penned this masterpiece of an Ode to Consulting:

One senior partner all alone
Calls two managing directors on the phone
Three associate partners at the door
Bring along another four
Five senior managers come overdressed
Six managers show up with a guest
Seven senior consultants arrive in a sack
Eight associates sneak in the back
Nine analysts come to work
ALL THE CONSULTANTS GO BERSERK!!!

Ok, I'll show myself out now... 😂

Hi fellow designers!
I’m a UX designer with 2 YOE in a design agency currently at 12.5LPA. I’ve recently landed an offer at a startup for 16.5 LPA + 2L esops with 2yr cliff period for a senior UX design role. I want to know if it’s worth to make the switch or wait some more?

PS: This was my first interview in the switching process so I’m not sure if I could have landed better offers or if this is the best I could get.
