Has anyone received band progression mail ?
I have received offer from Wipro which is little above than the offer that I am holding but fixed pay is less. Thinking of rejecting Wipro offer. Is it better to reject or accept and then not join. Is it SAFE joining Wipro as technical lead (B3) with 37LPA? Knowing that package is pretty high as compared to collogues in same band. HR is not ready to give project manager(C1) position.

What is your skillset for which you have been selected?
42 is a good figure. Remember , it includes Gratuity that you will only really get back after 4 years and other small nitty gritty that normally should not be part of CTC. In your mind expect only 50% Variable. I got like 60% in my first Variable last year.
By 100% they only are saying that the company factor is 1. That 100% is the multiplier with which your Variable pay is multiplied by. So 60%*1 = 60%.
If company factor was lower say 0.8 then you would have got just 60%*0.8=48% !!
So, you are being told the truth about the 100% but it is half truth. You are not being given the full picture.
