Can someone suggest a plant for my bedroom? It’s a huge bedroom, space is not a concern, will put the plant beside an east facing window. Preferably something that I can find at Home Depot.

You can put anything East. My apartment faced that way and got great sun in the early morning and on super sunny days it would beam in beautifully all day. I own hoyas, pilea, monstera, homalomena, alocasia, maranta. I have a mix of bright indirect plants as well as indirect/partial shade. My window did have Roman blinds that dappled the light.

What house plants are NOT toxic to cats? I swear every time I go to buy a new plant and look it up it says “toxic to pets”. I have a dumb cane which I know is toxic but didn’t realize when I bought it so now I just keep it in the laundry room away from my cat when I’m at work but that means no daytime sunlight. Would like suggestions on which plants I can buy that are safe to leave alone with my cat 😸
