Hey All, just wondering what’s happening with McKinsey’s Quantum Black and BCG’s many product ventures (BCG Omnia, BCG Digital Ventures etc)? Are they working on creating a products and up selling to their current clients? Can someone explain the benefit of whole life or similar products? I understand that they are bad for 99.9% of people. How does the 0.1% benefit? Taxes? Asset protection?

I'm struggling to understand why anyone would use these at all. Significantly caps your upside. If you are uber wealthy, why wouldn't you continue investing in the market? Why pay the crazy fees for these products that are essentially just 90% treasury bonds and 10% levered ETFs and covered calls?

What is considered a “large” caseload in employment litigation? I work at a large L&E boutique law firm and handling about 14-15 active litigation cases in state/federal court or arbitration. Some of these matters are multi-plaintiff and multi-defendant cases, but none are class actions. This does not include any matters I am handling in the charge stage or in pre-litigation. Not sure if that’s a typical caseload or not?

Just switched to a gud org with gud perk,pay,project work but My boss is the epitome of a**h*** reasons-
Onboarded me on a huge project (12 phase proj) with no KT, only gave docs to read from.
He was handling this proj till phase 4 but has completely withdrawn out without proper transition.
I cannot make decisions and my decisions are overridden by him.
