I recently received an offer from Citi, and they initiated the background verification process through First Advantage. While filling out the employment details, I mentioned my company's new name (post-acquisition). However, my documents like the relieving letter and experience letter still have the old company name, as the acquisition happened after I left.

Will this discrepancy cause any issues during the background verification process? Has anyone faced a similar situation?

Does anyone work at a firm where legal assistants don't do legal assistant things? For example, I have to do my scheduling and calendaring. I have to upload documents to our file management system. This morning, a name partners assistant didn't realize the name partner had a depo and didn't confirm it. This is how this firm as been for decades and it's incredibly frustrating to work this way. It's so hard to not stress over this daily.

What’s the base for CL8 (CDO)? Glassdoor doesn’t seem accurate, as it pegs CL8 at 56k. Currently a CL9, on 52.5 in London. Promoted from CL10 last year too, so still a fairly new CL9.

I have an offer with Citi, initially it was hybrid model and looks like they are moving back to wfo.. they told only now and I dont have any other offer in hand. due to personal constraints I need wfh or some flexibility types, but they seem a bit rigid as its not in their policy..
