Hi all, if you’ve worked for a company and switched locations can you negotiate your probation time?

I’m confused they’re gonna put you back on probation after you’ve already been off of it?

yeah, but typically they do not put you on probation when you get promoted or change locations. Of course, that is from the my view, which is a different job.

Anything is negotiable! So, yes.

Hi folks I got a call from a UBS recruiter for one of the jobs I had applied for Pune location. Unfortunately, the call got disconnected due to poor network at my end. And she did not call back.

The call was from this generic UBS HR number +65 64958000. I only caught the first name of that recruiter - Pooja/Puja.

Could someone let me know how to get back in touch with them? (I tried searching on LinkedIn but could not find the recruiter)

AMA: International Travel (US to Europe) During Coronavirus! I found very little info on this topic before my trip and had a bunch of questions which I wish someone could have helped with. Now, a friend and I both traveled US to Europe in the last week, different routes, in Econ/Biz. For anyone else looking to do the same, I’m happy to answer anything about the process - check in, flights, mask usage, security, visa checks, airports, social distancing, etc.

Hello, I worked 1 year as a 'Senior Data Engineer' at 110k base. I then was offered and accepted a role as 'Service Manager' at 155k base where I worked another year. Just recently accepted a 'Data Engineer' job at 155k base but with a larger company (in theory with potential to grow).

I am a Google Certified Professional Data Engineer.

Should I be earning more?

Would I earn more long term if I stayed on as Service Manager?

Had my 2nd interview with the hiring manager this past Friday & sent a thank you shortly after. It's now Tuesday (for those who see this on another day). At the end of the interview he said they've had other people who were interested but only one other person besides me were they considering. Said he would talk to his team and possibly have me fly out to meet in person. How long should I wait to follow up without seeming pushy? Also welcome any other tips to separate me from other candidate.

Will be starting the wealth management banking specialist (international) role pretty soon. :) What type of growth opportunities can I see going from there?
