Out of curiosity. How would a company view a potential candidate who has a period of unemployment to study for the CPA. I am considering to start studying for the exam but I know I would need to leave my employer in order to give 110%. I am contemplating the idea of at least passing one part while employed. Newbie Tax filing question, worked for a US employer Jan - July in NJ and then moved and worked for a Canadian employer Sept - Dec. Work permit holder in both countries at the time. Got 0% hike as HR said that I joined BNY last year as I don't deserve.

Got an offer from TIAA at 32Lac.
Is it worth to join TIAA.
BnY has quality Work + they are very flexible for work rather than @TIAA which wants me to be in office for 3 days a week. TiAA is offering me associate. I am a higher level in BNY

I hold an offer of 18LPA from KPMG with joining date of 7th September. (Wfh)
I applied at Workday on 15th May and went through 7 technical rounds of interview and received a verbal offer letter of 21LPA (hybrid)
Now apparently their technical panel "forgot" about the interview and wants to have a discussion again as 8th technical interview. HR says their joining date will be 19th September.
