So as we were the first to get hit with COVID in NY, we are seeing declines in numbers now. Travelers are cut short of their contract, our hours are getting cut, and staffs are laid off. Got a call yesterday from HR that now staffs need to file for unemployment to compensate for the lost hours. We risked our lives for this fight, now they are letting us go. Shit’s fucked.

A friend of mine tried to refer me to a job and their recruiter told me to expect anywhere from 4-9 rounds of interviews before a decision is made. F that! Please share your own experiences- what employers do this, and which ones recognize there comes a time when you’re just wasting the time of your potential recruits
