Is it hard to move around in Detroit? Do people stay at an agency for 3+ years and then move?

It’s acceptable to move around every 1.5 years in NYC. Afraid of being locked in for long periods.

So I had HR discussions after tech and managerial round and she said, she will have to get approval from management for salary discussions as it’s on the higher side as per my YOE.

Does it mean they will drop my candidature here and now or do I still have any chance ??
