Hi there. Ex Deloitte Sr Mgr here, currently in tech pre sales (SaaS / MarTech). Recently spoke to both Salesforce and Adobe recruiters for roles that I thought were lateral moves (Sr SA / Sr SC), therefore I did not proceed with the selection process. The recruiters from both companies told me they typically hire at that level, and people are considered for promotion to Principal in 1 to 2 years. I found that odd. Is that right? What’s the typical TC for SAs and SCs there? (15+ yrs exp).

Staff 1 typical come in fresh out of UG making about 70k (exact number raises about 2k a year not sure exactly where we are at now, think about 73k?). Year 2 at ST 2 typically youll get a very big raise like 10-15% range putting you about 80k. Same with the staff 2 to senior 1 salary (promotion is very close to automatic) so youll be about 90-95k as a senior 1. Then raises slow down a bit, think maybe 6% a year or so until senior 3. At senior 3 going down this path youll be at maybe 115-120k. Then S3 to M1 expect a big bump again in the 10-15k range to get to about 140k as an M1. Raises will slow down again to about 6% so M3-M4 youll be about 165k or so and then get another 10-15% bump to SM1 and be at about 185k or so your first SM year. Then raises will be about 6% until PPED. If youre an experienced hire, your base will start higher but your raises will be a little lower.
Thanks for the information. Seems pretty much in line with PwC DDV
Don’t Senior 1s coming from MBA make $150k in OTS? Does the gap between MBAs and non MBAs in the same role ever even out?

EY1 is this for a high COL city like dc/ny?
EY OTS has a very small COLA differentiation. Its actually 0 for new hires and only comes about via raise pools being different. Maybe add 5-10K at the manager or up levels for COLA for high cost of living but no more than that.
Thanks!
EY, what about bonus potential?
