Hi all, I’ve been working in tax accounting for a few years now and the tax seasons seem more stressful every consecutive year. Are there things you have done to mitigate this? Or is there a different career path you decided to take? The stress keeps me up late at night and overall I’m just in a place where I feel it’s just become too hard to catch up at work and fear of being fired is constant.

When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? My dream career is to be a technical recruiter but this whole thing is discouraging.
