I failed my first exam and now I am having a difficult time gaining the focus and drive I once hard to study and seat for another… did anyone went through that same thing or similar how did you over come that? I tend to set high expectations for myself and get overwhelm when those expectations are not met… but I’m working on that.

I’m currently doing portfolio opps at a solid UMM shop, but exploring making a change (potentially to a bigger firm where there’s more career progression). My concern is that here in Indiana, I have taught in 3 different districts over 21 years in traditional high schools & have not ever had a student teacher or Practicum observer in my computer lab classroom. The last school I left for my current career center dropped the computer science courses I spent 10 years building and refining all together. No qualified CTE teachers available. 🤷‍♂️

This is part of why I’m losing motivation. Kinda feel like a failure. Have any tips for studying for certification exams when losing focus?
