Century city is a great place to live. So is Santa Monica and Culver City. West Hollywood is great too.
Make sure to add the word “the” when referring to the freeway numbers. You forgot to do it in New York with the West Village.
Is this a necessary comment??
Melrose is very walkable. So is WeHo. You pay a premium to be in that situation, but it’s worth it for me.
I take it you left McK 😉 I’d look into Culver City and Santa Monica (closer to 3rd St)
Second Santa Monica but not close to 3rd St. Check out either close to Main St. or close to Montana Ave. 3rd St. is a weird ghost town
I agree with the other suggestions but nothing in LA is going to be walkable in the way that Manhattan is walkable.
100% true. Not too hard to live walking distance to some restaurants/coffee shops/bars (there are little strips of these that you can live close to), but “on your doorstep” will be harder to pull off, and you will still have to regularly drive unlike you would in the Village.

Moving in the opposite direction. Have some furniture to sell if interested.
I should be all set through a friend but thanks
Santa Monica Montana Wilshire neighborhood. I also used to live in the West village (also ex mck 🤣). My 2 cents
Venice, Santa Monica, or Manhattan Beach.
