Hi Fishes,
I am working as Java/Spring-Hibernate developer for 3.10yrs.
Currently I have 2 offers with me,
1st from Bank Of America of 14 LPA fixed. Responsibilities as mentioned by Manager: To migrate the existing projects on Scala.
2nd from Deloitte India of 12.5 LPA fixed +3LPA bonus.
Designation : Consultant.
Please suggest what will be better option for me as this is my 1st switch from start of my career.

So I just got back from Vacation which I asked people to make sure my projects were still moving along while I'm away.

Anybody else get the feeling that their projects don't get prioritized when they're away?

What salary should I expect for an entry level analyst? I have 4 years of internship experience at places like oracle, other big financial firms. A base for a Goldman position I applied to says 70-130k but this is such a huge jump. I’m already safe agile certified plus other things I believe make me a strong candidate. I’d just like to know a good market rate

I am currently working as an entry level claims adjuster. I am just about done with onboarding and I am interested in growing and earning more. I’m relatively young (30) and I want to make a good career for myself. My current salary is 50K and I am curious what growth is available financially. I am interested in fire and theft and SIU, but these are not the only roles I want to try. Does anyone have any idea the salary ranges available as I go further into different roles? (URBI,ARBI,F&T) etc?

Is there any way to get ahead of student loan debt once the forbearance ends? i have been paying this entire time, and was able to pay about half. the interest rates are astronomical (federal loans). What have you all done to combat this burden?

Does anyone know of any resources to find which banks have which groups in NYC? I’m looking to see who has their healthcare and TMT out there along with their size. LinkedIn is tedious and most don’t put their group, and bank’s websites seem to be useless.

Do you think the job market will improve significantly next year?
