Bain & Company Hello, I received an offer as a Senior Practice Manager at Bain. The profit sharing range is 0-12% in the offer letter. Is it typical to receive the midpoint (6%)? Also, what do the annual salary increases typically look like? Any insights are much appreciated. Bain & Company Boston Consulting Group McKinsey & Company

Look into the curly girl method
Have you tried the curly girl method? I tried and sadly did not turn up with waves but your hair looks promising.
- the front of my hair right now vs back ….. what the heck!!!
Just here to compliment - nice highlights!
This is right after the shower
My hair is like this, as others have mentioned protectant spray then dry. I use a giant round brush to try to dry into nice waves.
For work I separate into 3 layers and straighten starting at the bottom - it takes forever and only lasts one day.
For what it’s worth, when my hair is above the tops of my shoulders it’s the same texture mostly straight.
What’s your desired outcome? Mine is like this and I can get either beach waves or sleek blowout with different products and what not
Got it! So start with a good shampoo and conditioner that isn’t too moisturizing or have silicones, like briogeo or redken. When you get out of the shower, leave your hair in a towel for maybe 10 minutes to towel dry and let the curls start forming, then use a heat protectant and not your mothers texture spray, scrunch your hair upside down and dry with a diffuser
No shampoo or serum is going to get rid of those interior waves if you’re air drying.
You can either blow dry to smooth out the waves with a leave in conditioner/serum + heat protectant and a flat brush. Or go curly to help the front match the wave of the back.
Curl routines are super personalized but here’s a good starting place.
Start with a curl cream or mouse for definition, and a gel for hold. You may have to trial and error a few options to find what works for your hair.
It’s best to comb hair out in the shower and get your part set. Apply products immediately after you get out while hair is soaking wet, then scrunch with a towel to remove excess water. At this point, don’t touch it, comb it, or mess with it until it’s totally dry. Then you can scrunch to break up any chunks and loosen waves.
YouTube is a great resource, try finding videos from people who have similar waves to you.
