Anyone who has made the shift from a regular toothbrush to an electric? What were your reasons? Also do you think an electric is much better from an overall oral hygiene perspective?

I sometimes use the electric and sometimes regular. It definitely makes a difference, but not like “omg I’m so pearly white!” More “It takes longer for plaque to build up”.
I got a water pike and that has made a big difference, as I floss and sometimes the pik still gets more so get one of those for sure!

I made the shift then went back to the regular one.

Dentists have always said my teeth are amazing (was terribleeeeee with then as a kid and learned my lesson). But after I switched to an electric, twice they said they had a lot of plaque.

Guess I brush better and more fully with a regular one.

I have less plaque build up with the battery powered tooth brush. I also switched to floss sticks, and now I can get to the hard to reach places.

I switched to electric and use a water flosser after I quit smoking, the combination of both have made a significant difference and like someone mentioned removes a lot more plaque, and prevents frequent buildup. I feel like it has also helped improve my gum health. With manual toothbrush sometimes people (especially in NY) are always in a rush and may not brush a whole 2 minutes, I appreciate the timer on an electric brush. Also, if you are considering Phillips Sonicare has a subscription plan, you can pay for your toothbrush in full, or monthly payments and sign up to receive brush heads every 3 months for about $4 - way cheaper than purchasing in store, they also have a battery operated option for about $25 (target) I have one of those for when I travel so I don’t lose my good one, it’s minimal, comes in a few bright colors and has a slimline carrying case.

Curious what anyone thinks about cologne? Is it a turn on? I am not really into it.. but I just got a whiff of this dude at the gym and the cologne did something to me 🥰 It was really subtle. I tend to just like the way a man smells (not body odor but just natural scent) and don’t usually like it covered up, but wow this guy tonight 🥵 I might might buy some but i figured it would be gay to ask him “what are you wearing” because that prob isn’t something the bros at the gym do.

Let’s not have pride this year that is all about rainbow colors. Remember those who have lost their lives during the AIDS crisis, and the years they were ignored by the government and couldn’t get healthcare to save their lives. Same as what is happening today - those who are not privileged don’t have equal resources, or even access to healthcare. That’s why equality should matter for everyone. It’s not just a party, it’s to show that we’re still here and we will not give up.

Hi fishes,
I'm 22 and planning to take a life insurance. I'm comparing all policies and max life seems attractive as it has good claim settlement ratio and less premiums. But there is no office near our area. My worry is that if there is a need to claim in future, it can be done all online by my nominee? Is it recommended to take policy online in any platform(like policybazaar)?
Other options I'm considering are SBI life, HDFC life which offices are available in my locality.
