It’s hard to trust the partners/leadership when they want us to return to office as being better when we increase offshoring? Also, the pressure on billable hours when all that really matters is how much our fixed labor costs vs. how much we can bill (which is usually fixed fee or at least a range) and the fixed labor costs of offshoring is significantly cheaper so the hours don’t matter. Are you aware of the CPA exam credit extension to 2021 for NY CPA candidates impacted by COVID19? It’s on a person-by-person basis and you need to request the extension. Has anyone tried doing this yet? Can anyone shine more light on this? The extension would really help me, but I’m not sure what more to tell them in my email than the fact that I couldn’t sit for the exams this Spring/Summer due to test centers closing in NYC.

Does anyone know if they suspend the fee for pushing back an exam? My exam is on Friday and I want to push it back by two weeks and it says zero fees, but I want to take a mock tomorrow to make sure I want to push it back and I don’t want to pay a fee since it’s 3 days before

Just took FAR for the fourth time today 😂 LOTS of not for profit questions and even sims were not for profit!!!!! Definitely more than 5-15% Becker said!!! I got like 60% was based on NFP!

Taking Reg this Friday so wish me luck

Does any fish have experience prepping and taking the CAMS exam? I would appreciate any advice on study materials, exam preparation tips, and information about the exam.

Would it be wise to start NFP/GOV modules first for FAR since they are heavily tested ?

Taking FAR soon! Currently reviewing the book and wanted to see if y’all had any advice on what modules/sections to cover more then others? Been hearing Gov/NFP is a big one. Anyone care to share what the exam was like for them and what it mainly covered?

Jusr took 2nd practice exam for far on becker and got a 68, exam is next week... what should i be doing other than hammering mcqs?

Best course of action with BEC? Using Becker and the first two chapters are terrible...
