Currently working on my MLO license in CA, and wanted to know what path to take once I am done. Should I join a brokerage ? A bank? A credit Union ? Help !!

I am working in CG as a consultant with close to 9 years of experience and 9 lacs CTC. Is it ok or should the package be more? Can I ask HR for salary correction? What is the range like in the B2 level?

For all you retail people...are you experiencing a very slow holiday season? I am a retail manager and I feel like this season has been freakishly slow. I thought we would at least match last year's number or be up a little bit but we are trending down. I talked to employees of other stores in the mall and they are saying the same thing. Is anyone else experiencing this in their market?

Things are apparently going to get better after a client will be leaving, I’ll get to work on different brands but I am feeling pretty burnt out from the agency I’m at. Will new clients help? Or should I look elsewhere. Been at the agency almost 3 years, I feel like I need to switch things up for my sanity.

Part of a BD now, thinking of going on my own as RIA. Costs would be about 50% less, which makes it seem like an obvious choice. Have a deep family friend relationship with current firm, though. I've offered to give that cashier my keys . I'm so done with trying to do right, only to have manager make up excuses.

What’s your work-life balance like? I feel like I’m constantly working after hours, always balancing multiple projects, hardly ever going through a phase where there isn’t a ton of critical initiatives going on. It definitely wasn’t like this when I was a more junior PMM, but as a Senior PMM, my work-life balance has severely decreased. Is this just the nature of Product Marketing? In Jan of this year I was hired on as a new mortgage loan originator. We renegotiated my salary in April to $55K. I recently learned that banks here in my area are hiring brand new, low experience LO’s for $70K. The market is slow but I’ve been very consistent in what I’m bringing in and closing. My supervisor has stated we will be doing my review and salary discussion to be effective 1/1/23. I was going to ask for $75K but I’ve been told I should ask for $80K-$85K. Thoughts? Advice?
