What is the job market currently for MLO’s? I am about to take the exam. Obviously the RE market isn’t the best, is it possible to even get a job as an inexperienced MLO right now? I don’t see many postings on the job boards.

I’ve been a paralegal for about 30 years in private law firmS. As I get older, I feel like it’s time for a semi-career change. Either an office manager position or perhaps a corporate position where I can travel a little since my kids are grown and I’m an empty-nester. Has anyone made this type of transition? Advise welcome. They cant put me on performance defaulters as I voluntarily resigned and also got good feedback from client.
The reason I resigned was the sh^^head manager and project.
He said I would be released from project soon and then on bench but after resigning he is saying you have to serve the NP n we cant release early.
This is only option left to get released from this sh^t place

I recently accepted an offer for mortgage loan officer at rocket mortgage. Does anyone have pros and cons about working for them as well as what was the salary like for you any increases or bonuses ?

In Jan of this year I was hired on as a new mortgage loan originator. We renegotiated my salary in April to $55K. I recently learned that banks here in my area are hiring brand new, low experience LO’s for $70K. The market is slow but I’ve been very consistent in what I’m bringing in and closing. My supervisor has stated we will be doing my review and salary discussion to be effective 1/1/23. I was going to ask for $75K but I’ve been told I should ask for $80K-$85K. Thoughts? Advice?
