Hi Everyone, I am trying to apply for a Technical Support role at Dropbox I’m entering all the required fields but there seems to be an issue, when I hit submit after filling the form, it doesn’t submit and throws error ‘Looks like you left this blank! Please fill out this required field’ when all the fields are entered already (I have checked so many times, and filled the form from scratch several times too). Anyone from Dropbox who can put me in touch with HR or suggest what I should do next?
Hi,
I'm currently having an offer from BlueOptima and Cohesity and am conflicted between the two.
I have offers in the SDET profile.
Cohesity Inc is providing me MTS and @BlueOptima is providing SDET-1.
Glassdoor reviews more of less place the two companies almost equally, and the package being offered by the two is almost in the same range.
My preferences include:
Learning opportunities in the role.
Company's work environment.
Company's growth prospects, are also a consideration.

At Amazon, what is the difference between a Program Manager and Technical Program Manager? It looks like the Technical one gets paid about 25% more but not sure what roles/responsibilities they do differently. Amazon

I can tell you this. If any PMM tell you they are not doing much in general? Which I know a few. They are not good PMM just to start there. The reason why is because it really is our job to glue people together with the cross functioning aspect. So lots of meetings come natural with our job.
And the reason why I said this is because don’t compare yourself with those people.
I do believe you can have a good balance in general. Set boundaries and prioritize. Tell your manager what is realistic and what is not. Tell/discuss with him/her confidently on what should be #1 priority and go down the list. While I totally think there are a lot of unrealistic managers. This will also help you become a great manager in the near future.
Manage up.
I like using liquid planner. It is the one true cat herding tool. And the great thing is that is allows the cats to herd themselves. There is zero micro management. Project live and die on individuals. And this allows everyone to see where the hang up is across multiple projects(if you allow). You can't drive it backwards so it forces your team to bring everything under control. I am not a rep or anything just someone that has used many programs and I think it is one of the best because every engineer/person has their own tasks and chart. They can drag things wherever they need and data, it is actually a useful tool. And the only way you will get an engineer to give you reliable data is if it improves their life. Best of luck.
