I have been selected for one of the role in GS. The company had initiated bgv on 9th of the month, but it is been 1 month 1 week since the start of bgv. Till now it has not been completed.

Anyone know the reason why and when will it be completed. It has been exactly 3 weeks from the tentative joining date . Everytime i call the recruiters , they are saying it will be completed by today or tomorrow. But no certain answer or clarity from them. What to do ?

I understand that I can use driver’s License but what if they ask for my passport and see the expired visa, which was from my F1 status? Advice: my firm incentivized associates to get licensed in fed courts - 4 fed courts for a 5k raise. They also covered the admission fee. I just accepted an offer with another firm and will be putting in my 2 weeks notice tomorrow. Is it wrong to submit an expense report for the charges I incurred related to the fed court admission fees? I didn’t plan on moving to another firm; the new firm sought me out and made me an offer - the process happened so fast. I want to be professional about this.

My personal opinion is to go for DI because its in my hometown, for KPMG i need to relocate. But many people are telling WLB was bad in DI. any suggestions..

I’m relocating to the US from an international rotation to work in Galveston. I have never been to Texas and I am trying to find the best spot for my family to live in. So far from reading online it sounds like Pearland is a good option but I have not been able to validate that/ figure out what other options are out there. I would appreciate all advice:
1. Would you recommend living in Pearland?
2. What are other good areas to live in? Safe and would like to be less than 1 hour from Galveston.
