I have an opportunity to move into a new position - Electrical Engineering and Production Manager in the Chicagoland area. Recently at my company there was some concern with salaries due to an accidental email going out with starting salaries for new job postings.. long story short, is it common for different departments to have higher salaries for the same title? For example a senior graphic designer in brand verse product marketing?

Looking to become a UI/UX designer. I have no skills in that field. Any suggestions for best first step? Maybe a Bootcamp or Course?

A year ago, I got promoted to Art Director, and since our team is pretty small, I’m still very hands-on in terms of designing.
