PIP isn’t the end of road.
Start preparing for interviews and parallely clear the PIP tasks.
DONT resign unlesss you get an offer.
PIP tasks last for over a months time.
Give interviews consistently during this period.
Keep a track of the questions being asked and prepare those for the next this is the pattern you can follow.
Even if they ask you to leave they need to pay you a severance pay.
So if you resign you aren’t eligible for it.
Lastly I repeat DONT do this mistake to resign without an offer.
If you are placed on a PIP, you may resign during that period, but you must complete all PIP-related tasks before your resignation is processed. Also, if you wish to resign before the PIP begins, you will be required to serve a three-month notice period.
If you successfully complete all PIP requirements, you can continue working on the same project. However, if you do not meet the PIP expectations, you will be asked to resign, failing which the company may issue a termination letter.
Therefore, if you plan to continue, please focus on the PIP tasks and complete them sincerely. If you do not wish to go through the PIP process, it is better to resign before it officially starts.
