Most interviews focus on SRE tasks like monitoring and incident response, while learning resources emphasize Platform Engineering. Are DevOps roles today still mainly operational, or are companies truly shifting toward platform engineering?
I have been into infra ops but now looking for a more stable working hours!

Should a DevOps Cloud Engineer with 2 years experience earning around 10 LPA (base salary) in a Fortune 200, switch to a startup which pays almost 20 LPA base salary?
The reason to ask this question is, wouldn't it be difficult at the time of second switch, to move to another big organisation after one is already at 20-24 LPA with just 3-4 years of experience at a startup?
