Deloitte offers experienced hires sign on. I referred a guy from EY 2 years ago. They offered 5 or 10, so I know they’ll do it.

As the person above said ask for more. MBAs with no experience right from bschool are starting as a senior consultant at 140 or 145 with a 20k signon. You’ve already got an MBA and real experience

Depends. What do u make now?

Lol. Explain to me how your offer was specifically for SC3.

If you plan to stay in consulting for the short term(3-5 years min) I would suggest to stay at EY to become a manager if you know you are on track to become a Manager based on your Cycle 1 results. Once you are manager you will have a higher salary and more negotiating power plus go in as a Manager to another Big4... Going in as a SC into D you will have to spend minimum 2 yearly performance cycles to be ready for promotion to Manager. So depending on what you want you should chose accordingly.

That's BS. Get your money. That base is cool, but top-tier city means top-tier cost of living. Counter with $148,298 and a 10K bonus.

You won't get it, but they'll meet you closer to where you need to be.

like

@pwc 1 - no. Deloitte doesn’t differentiate based on location

No pay difference between cities for campus hires; you could use the COL concern as part of your negotiation. Definitely bring up the campus salary of $140K

It's 25% bump. But I will make to M1 if I stay at EY. ?

@EY1. yes. That's the main reason I'm leaving EY. Terribly screwed compared to peers.

@EY1. I'm in the West Coast tier city

D2.is the pay different for tier1 vs tier 2 cities?

EY3 has good points

I don’t think there really is a ‘SC3’ position for new hires, but if they say they’ll promote in a year so be it!

When I moved in-house a year ago as a BigLaw mid-level, I took a 45% pay cut, far more than I was comfortable with (although I was fine with a 20-30% cut). I took the job because it was a great role and I was focused on making the jump in house and developing the skills I wanted, which required me moving away from my firm practice area. Now that my year-end review is coming up, how do I ask my company for a significant pay raise (not just a 2-5% inflation-matching raise)?

Based on the Gross salary offered I have calculated the in hand salary per month would be around 152000 considering 150000 in 80C, 50000 in NPS and 200000 deductions due to home loan interest. Total tax liability is around 400000. Any other options do I have to save tax further (other than HRA, LTA)? Thanks in advance.

MBA with Total YOE - 7+, relevant YOE- 5.3 , Skills - CYBERSECURITY,GRC, Audit.

I have got two offers
1. Genpact - 27 CTC (24 fixed + 10% variable plus gratuity) Manager level
2. Airbus - 23 CTC + 5 L JB
I really wanted to work with Airbus but they are not budging from the offer of 23 even after I told them I have a better offer from Genpact with better position. HR said they will come back..
