I’m a tech lead in consulting with 5+ years of experience, strong SQL skills, and some cloud exposure. I want to transition to a data engineering role at good tech companies like Google, Meta, or Netflix. Should I focus on certifications (GCP, Databricks, AWS) or is there a better approach? I haven’t been coding much recently, so my DSA skills are rusty. Any advice on upskilling, or resources to focus on, would be appreciated!
