I recently joined EY in July as an Analyst 2 in the Assurance team. I have 1.4 years of experience in the GRC domain. However, my current CTC is 5 LPA, which is quite low compared to my expectations. I did try to negotiate at the time of joining, but there wasn’t much flexibility. Could anyone please suggest if there’s any way to renegotiate my salary or improve my compensation?

How can I sell my 2 years of clerkship as valuable experience for corporate work? I would like to get credit for at least one year (at least in salary, if I can’t in seniority). I know for litigation they are more clearly valued and linked to that type of work, but I have reconsidered my interests and now am thinking of going into corp. However, I don’t want to feel like I wasted 2 years clerking (which I don’t feel like that, but I have to convince an employer of that too). Any help or insight?

I have around 29 Lac savings + 5 Lac gold.
And my wife has 28 Lac gold(wedding gift) + 80 Lac(ancestral) Land.
We have a child, his current age is 2 years+
Currently our monthly expenses are around 22k(max), and my CCTC is 15 LPA+ with 8+ YOE.
My age is 29! I don't feel like working anymore.

How does updating your application work? If I submit apps to schools in R1, and then get promoted in the early fall, is it possible to amend the application to reflect that?
