I lost 25 lbs net, but considering I also added about 10+ lbs of muscle I am feeling really happy. Bout to drop 15 lbs of fat for spring and be in the best shape in 25 years.

Drinking too frequently is the real (body) killer.

You’re an associate. Are you saying your best shape in 25 years compared to you as a chubby toddler?

Honestly loved the last year (not the widespread virus and deaths, but personally with the changes in my daily life) and wish we could continue with this WFH, no social obligations model.

From a financial standpoint in this market, which would be a better approach in Austin -

1. Buy a ~8-850k house that meets most of our ideal criteria (size, schools, interiors etc) to stay long term

2. Buy a ~5-550k house that’s not ideal with the plan of moving into an ideal home in 4-5 years when kid is ready for school.

How easy is it to get a mortgage for the second home?

Household income - 300k

Happy to add more details as needed

Thanks

My professional life at the moment is far from ideal. I’ve been on quarantine (long story, but a good one) for the last seven years. Royalties from my books don’t pay the bills. For the interim, I’ve been looking for a remote opportunity where I can leverage my skills in marketing, sales, social media, and elsewhere for a decent sum. I have a social media presence which, in recent years, reached millions. There has to be something exciting I can do.
