Would love to learn more about how you are working towards making your product more accessible. I often refer our interns to the Glassdoor platform to conduct research; many of our interns have disabilities and/or use Assistive Technology to navigate the web and utilize webapps.

Thank you for bringing this up, and I'm sorry for the delayed reply. I wanted to talk to all the relevant parties to ensure I was giving you an accurate response because accessibility is so important to us.
Continuing to improve Glassdoor access for everyone has been a key priority for us; we want our products to be inclusive and usable by everyone. Our product design, engineer, and testing teams here at Glassdoor all include checking for accessibility and where possible adding automated checks into the process. I’ve included an overview of some of these steps that are taken.
Before engineering any component, our design team runs all designs through an accessibility checklist. We check for a minimum WCAG 2.2 AA standard. Some example items we check for are color contrast, text magnification, content hierarchy, focus states, and that keyboard guidelines are in place for screen readers. Our design team also regularly checks existing components to maintain those standards.
From there, we have accessibly designed reusable elements that are used throughout the website (buttons, text fields, and more) to streamline design and build steps while maintaining accessibility. We also have automated tooling that runs as these components are built and changed to look for color contrast issues, missing text for screen readers or settings that assist with navigating without a mouse. Additionally, when building out these components, our developers are considering what using this component might be like from the experience of someone with different accessibility needs.
Accessibility is also one of the core principles of the testing engineering team at Glassdoor. To support this, we've integrated accessibility checks into our quality assurance processes. After UI components/pages are built, we implement automated tests that verify their adherence to WCAG standards using industry-standard tools. Additionally, we conduct daily checks on our highest-traffic pages to identify and address any accessibility issues that may have arisen during development.
We are always looking for ways to improve through understanding the experience of those that use our site, particularly those with various accessibility needs. We are open to adding new things to look out for in our checklists, new tools to be able to use, or any suggestions on how we can further enhance the accessibility of our products.
