Hi guys I was reached out via Deloitte recruiter asked me apply for a role. I have around 4yrs exp & CCTC is 15.3, the roles was Data Engineer in Tax line Consultant role. After I applied she called me for my cctc and then she said she needs to talk about budget and will call me back. Yesterday in portal I saw I got rejected.
Just wanted to know how much Deloitte can offer for 4yoe Consultant role.

Small firm (my boss, me, & a paralegal). After a hearing I did not handle, boss intended to seek review of the ruling in its entirety. What was communicated to me by paralegal was to seek review of a portion.

Seeking review is now time-barred. Boss is not upset, but this is 1 case & 1 problem. There are other cases & other stories.

How do I talk to my boss about being more present (boss is never in office, has “too many” emails, never answers his phone) without being seen as insubordinate?

How do people afford to buy $1M houses in Chicago? Surely not everyone buying them is rich (which is somewhat of a subjective term). My wife and I are 30 and have a combined income of almost $300k and trying to buy something that expensive seems asinine yet people do it. Am I missing something?
