Hmmm I’ll state the obvious. The people who work the fast food restaurant in the city don’t give a f***. It’s one thing not to be an all star and care about your work but it’s another when the actual product and experience is changed. I don’t have an issue in the Chicago Suburbs as much as in the city. I would never eat out unless at a restaurant in the city for that reason.
🙄 hate to break it to you but restaurant workers in the suburbs don't care either.
Can we also talk about how much more expensive it’s gotten? I think read somewhere that it’s gone up 40%
Yup. In college (2014) I swear I could get a bowl with double protein and all the add ons for $10 max.
Every fast food chain has gone down. Companies are using lesser quality items and also up charging.
Yup, agree, time for people to start cooking at home instead. I have been consistently disappointed at franchise type places.
Idk the best one but I know it’s NOT the one off of Fullerton and Lincoln Ave
F I go there all the time 😔
Gold Coast one on state st always gives good scoops of meat
Ashland location in LP is solid
2000 N Clybourn is really solid in my experience
Agree this one is still heavy handed on the portions
I have a vendetta against the grand ave chipotle
One off Clinton and Monroe is a machine
Yep. They don’t skimp and they work so fast at all times. It’s never taken them longer than a minute to make my whole bowl, bag it up, and check out.
I went to the one on Belmont and Broadway A LOT. I don't live in that hood anymore and think the location closed down, but it has a very special place in my heart. The people there were amazing and very generous. They knew me and would start making my usual order as soon as I walked in. Once, the store manager called me and was like you're such a loyal customer we think you should enter our raffle for a free burrito party for you and 10 friends. So I did, and I "magically" won. They also would give me my order "on the house" around the holidays.
Kinda heart breaking this one closed- I’d start going there ASAP
The one in River North near the Red line Grand stop sucks that I’ve switched to Dos Bros instead. More food and way better customer service
Seconding this. That location is fucking awful.
Chief
Yes it’s because you order for pickup so they skimp on the ingredients!
I always go to the one in bucktown but you have to order in person. Their delivery/pre-order food is significantly worse than the quality you get ordering in person. It’s kind of funny cause in person you can see them rush/half-ass the delivery orders as they come through to get to your in person order which gets the love and attention it deserves
Best: Wrigleyville on Addison
Worst: DePaul Lincoln and Fullerton
I go to the one by Ashland and Diversey.
As a Chicagan who moved to Scotland where there is no Chipotle, this saddens me.
Also sharing don’t order Potbelly from the Presidential Towers location. Ever.
The one just south of 500 W Madison used to be fire. Haven’t been in a while tho
Found multiple hairs in bowls from Chipotle in Lincoln Park
The North Ave Old Town one is bad
