I’ve accepted an offer with PwC UK on 24 march and my , start date is next month(may 25). I’ve received my contract and welcome booklet, and I’ve completed all onboarding steps so far (right to work, fit to work, independence checks, medical, etc.).

My Experian screening took a bit longer but was completed earlier this week.

I’m now about a month away from starting and haven’t heard anything further from my recruiter or PwC. Just wondering:
What will be the next things?

How would you rank in order of prestige/ease of getting in: UCLA, Cornell, and NYU ??

Looking to transition to MBB if that matters.

Recent cases of PERM approved within 5-6 months? Submitted in early June, hope to get approval by EOY.

Has anyone had success renegotiating pay while remaining in the same position? The last two years have significantly changed my local market and the less-than-inflation federal pay raises are not cutting it. I'd be seeking 3 steps within my current grade, but I don't know if my management even has a mechanism to make the change if they wanted to. I am aware of the Quality Step Increase, but I don't think that's the solution here.

Can anyone explain the difference between PWC SDC, PWC AC and PWC India?

I am trying to get into PWC. here are a few things I have heard so far. Is this fairly accurate?

1. PwC AC is offshore counterpart of PwC US. Good salary. No travel opportunities. Average yearly hike ~10% Mostly technical work.
2 PwC India is a pure consulting firm. Salary better than PwC AC. client facing work. Can grow as a management consultant. Great Travel opportunities.

Got an offer from pwc in the data privacy role.
With 13.5 Lpa currently i’m at 12 and made switch on march.
Though my current company is an mnc but not that big and no work pressure is there, amazing work life balance. However, there is little to no learning and its very slow, the project is just starting and the client itself is not clear what they want. Do you think I should switch just because its a big 4.
