Has anyone had success renegotiating pay while remaining in the same position? The last two years have significantly changed my local market and the less-than-inflation federal pay raises are not cutting it. I'd be seeking 3 steps within my current grade, but I don't know if my management even has a mechanism to make the change if they wanted to. I am aware of the Quality Step Increase, but I don't think that's the solution here.

I cleared LTI all rounds and in HR discussion we came on mutual agreement for 16lpa .I have 7 years of experience and they gave me Specialist - Data Engineering(P3) role. And we agreed I will join with after 60 as I had to serve 60 days notice period. I was waiting for offer letter and when I received the offer letter I was shocked to see that CTC mentioned was 14LPA and joining date was only 15days from now ,which is way early.

If interviewing with a number of different agencies and/or divisions within an agency, how do you handle multiple offers? Are you given time to think it over or is it akin to a clerkship where you are expected to accept on the spot? Interviewed with a panel, then about 4 days later, I am now being asked to interview with the same panel members again. The only difference seems to be the timeframe, which went form 40 mins to 1 hr.
