How long does it take PwC to get back to you with a offer, I had my 3rd interview a little over a week ago and still haven’t heard of anything yet.
Opinion question: do people in Big 4 dislike their jobs more than their counterparts in other industries or smaller accounting/advisory firms? I’m a first year for reference, would like to gauge the room of corporate America. Also trying to gauge exits for down the line, but don’t want to hold a “grass is greener” mentality

For those of you who were once summer interns, what would have been the ideal intern closing event?

I'm a junior associate at a national insurance defense firm that was just offered an interview at an AmLaw 200 regional firm in their commercial litigation practice group. 1900 billable requirement and an opportunity to touch different areas of law at a full service firm, so I am jumping at the opportunity. I'm pretty nervous though because I have practically zero commercial litigation experience. Any advice? Interviewing with a full panel of partners.

What are the exit opportunities for someone in M&A with functional/PMO/overall M&A strategy knowledge?
Anyone who has recently accepted a job at EY consulting I would greatly appreciate your insight. How would you describe work life balance in comparison to the company you left? Was the increase in pay/benefits worth the change in work life balance? I’m currently in a situation where I work close to 40 hours a week (remote), so I’m hesitant to accept a new role where I may work 50-60 hours a week for only 20k more pay. Also for reference I’m looking at transitioning into a senior consultant role.
My client's last line in every email is 'we need this as soon as possible.' I really want to tell him to f-off because they still owe us stuff to be able to finish their return.
Those LiMu Emu ads are the bane of my existence 🤬
Was just hired by one of the Big4 and am currently going through a background check. I sell clothes online as a hobby (4 hours a week outside of working hours), but it is filed under a LLC in my name. Do I need to disclose this to the firm? I don’t want them to worry about it. Also I have never worked during business hours. In my opinion, selling clothes is not a form of outside employment… it is a hobby. Do I still need to disclose this?
I have seen Big 4s sponsoring H1B visa in US however in Australia Big 4 dont sponsor work visa. Why is that so?
How is EY’s year end bonus these days?
Hello everyone, I'm currently eyeing an opening @ PwC. It is an entry-level role, and I positively think that I may have a real shot at this if I could just strengthen my chances to land an interview. Can someone here from PwC be so kind as to refer me for this role? I'd really appreciate your help!
FYI - There are a lot of jobs hiring despite COVID and what the accounting firms would like you to think. These firms are great for experience but don’t work your damn life away for $
Got in touch with the hiring manager for a role I’m interested but he said this is a brief intro call. Passed my info to the recruiter and have a call scheduled with them but they also label it as exploratory conversation. Am I not interviewing? Confused as to why they’re keeping this informal and also how do I bring it up that I want this to be official recruitment process? TIA
Trying to exit consulting, but the only opportunities I'm getting are for consulting. Any advice fishers on how I can switch career paths. I'm a tech strategy manager at Deloitte, trying to switch to Product Management or Project Management roles

I was just offered to get a promoted offer (from AS to VP,AD) at a different company, but I have been wanting to transition off to non-advertising gigs especially pharma. Does it make sense to sign the new offer first and keep searching, or get out when I can out of advertising? I took the interview a while ago thinking I still wanted to be in advertising but had gradual shift in heart..

Hate my job but 2 months away from sign on bonus what do I do? I already got it but in my offer letter it says they have the right to take it away if the year isn’t completed. I’m interviewing for a bunch of amazing roles and I think I’m 100% going to get this one I want but am worried they want the start date in a month or so. Do I just leave bc I hate it here or ask to stay up until my start date and slack off until then?
Best way to find temporary living in the loop/river north/ streeterville? I need a month-to-month and/or short-term and/or furnished and/or sublet situation. Looking to stay under $1500 per month, but as close to $1000 as possible. Happy to have roommate(s). Longest case is I need it until mid-november. Shortest case might be for just a few weeks (mostly COVID dependent).
